Permission to use MVO media material must be sought before using in any capacity.

Video and Photograph Prices

These prices apply to still and video imagery supplied by MVO under a single-use licence, worldwide, in perpetuity, for all media.

Provision of material at cost for academic or educational use is at the discretion of the MVO Director.

A)        Commercial Use

Video footage

• US$ 50 per second

Photograph publication

• 1-5 images:     US$ 75 per image
• 5-10 images:   US$ 65 per image
• 10+ images:    US$ 60 per image

B)        Academic or Educational Use

• Cost of materials and postage only

Copyright Procedure for Montserrat Volcano Observatory Data

To use Montserrat Volcano Observatory data, permission must be sought from the MVO director. Should the director approve the use of the data, then a signed contract will need to be completed.

This agreement is subject to the following conditions:

• Regular reports on the use of the data should be sent to the MVO Director at an interval of at least every 6 (six) months.
• Any changes to the “Project” objectives and collaborators should be notified to the MVO Director within 2 months.
• The “Licensee(s)” should involve at least one MVO staff member as a collaborator on the project (the “MVO Collaborator(s)”);
• Any publications arising from the project should include the “MVO Collaborator(s)” on authorship lists.
