BIO
Venus Bass is a Montserratian who has been working at the MVO since April of 1996. She is now the Seismic and Environmental Technician.
During her long tenure, she has gained a vast wealth of knowledge in Seismology by working with a number of Seismologist from around the world, and attending courses and workshops in Seismology and Volcanology.
Her main duties are to collect, process, analyse and interpret the Seismic data as recorded by the network. She also assists in manning the Operations Room, to ensure the safety of all field parties.
