The Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO) was established to monitor the Soufriere Hills volcano (SHV), generating crucial data for mitigating volcanic risks, while also engaging in high-quality research and encouraging collaboration with external researchers governed by the MVO Research and Data Policy.
