Monthly Meetings Advance Montserrat Geopark Initiative
Representatives from a range of institutions continue to meet monthly as work progresses on the development of Montserrat’s Geopark initiative.
The meetings provide an opportunity for the entities to share expertise, discuss priorities, and contribute to the framework that will guide the establishment of the Geopark. Bringing together perspectives from different sectors helps to ensure that the initiative reflects Montserrat’s unique volcanic, natural, cultural, and historical heritage.
The collaborative approach is an important part of the planning process, helping to identify opportunities, address challenges, and build a shared vision for the future of the Geopark.
As the initiative moves forward, the working group will continue to meet regularly to refine plans and support the development of a framework aligned with international Geopark principles.
