MVO visit Look Out Primary for Youth Month
For Youth Month MVO went to Look Out Primary School to talk about our careers at the MVO.
Volcanologist Dr. Karen Pascal spoke about her education and work as a volcanologist, while education and outreach coordinator Kathleen Retourné spoke about the importance of outreach and education to raise awareness of volcanic risk.
We were so impressed with the students who were so engaged and asked some great questions. Who knows, we may have just met some future MVO team members!
