The pause in activity continues and measurable activity at the Soufrière Hills Volcano has remained low with no significant changes over the last 24 hours.

Heavy rain generated small mudflows during the morning of 5 February. They did not impact on drainage channels close to the coast but during periods of heavy rainfall it must be remembered that the hazard of lahar (mudflow) in the lower lying drainage channels around the volcano remains.
